Enliven Tauranga Service Manager - Alison Wieringa

Alison Wieringa is a former occupational therapist with extensive experience in the health sector, including various roles in Auckland and Tauranga.  Alison has specialised in the rehabilitation of clients following head injuries and neurosurgery, and the community-based rehabilitation of severely disabled adults. Throughout her career her focus has been on ensuring people have the opportunity to remain in a home of their own choice, which is key part of the philosophy that underpins Enliven Positive Ageing Service.  Alongside her work Alison has been heavily involved in netball for many years, including her most recent roles as a national selector and coach of the New Zealand A team.  From 2000 - 2003 Alison and her family were based in Wales where she was the National Performance Director for the Welsh Netball Association.  Alison joined PSN in February 2007 as Enliven Waikato Service Manager and then transferred to Tauranga in April.
