Family Works Northern Professional Practice Leader - Robyn Corrigan
Of Ngati Kahu descent, Robyn has been employed in the social services sector since 1989 working as a generic social worker, team leader, lecturer, manager and at a goverance level as a past-President of the Aotearoa NZ Association of Social Workers (ANZASW) and as the inaugural Chair of the Social Workers Registration board (SWRB). During that time she has worked in the health, NGO, social work education and statutory sectors.
Most recently Robyn has been in private practice providing professional supervision to social workers and social work managers, presenting professional development seminars, been a facilitator for the National Certificate in Abuse, Neglect and Violence and lectured on the Northtec Bachelor in Applied Social Service programme. Robyn is a BSW graduate from the University of Auckland, has four adult children and five gorgeous grandchildren.
Robyn was appointed Professional Practice Leader in September 2009.
