Impact Research NZ Director - Dr Chris Holland
Dr Christine Holland is the Director of Impact Research NZ. Chris directed a successful UK research and professional development network for workplace literacy at Lancaster University, and on returning to New Zealand, established Work and Education Research and Development Services (WERDS), an Auckland based research and development consultancy.
Chris has worked with government departments, universities, community and voluntary organisations, industry training organisations and unions, to implement research and development projects in adult learning, and, more recently, social policy and the social service sector. Projects have focused on wellbeing and learning support for workers and volunteers, community and voluntary sector strength and the prevention of family violence and child abuse. Research models of particular interest include ethnographic and participatory models.
