Te Raita Ita Kopp
Te Raita Ita Kopp has been representing Te Aka Puaho, the Maori Synod of the Presbyterian Church, on the Board since April 2007. A retired teacher, Te Raita is an elder of the Auckland parish of Te Aka Puaho, an active kaumatua and a volunteer for Selwyn Village, Meals on Wheels and her local Citizens Advice Bureau. Te Raita is also a member of the Mt Albert Historical Society and the Maori Women’s Welfare League and is Secretary for the Owairaka Kaumatua Trust. Her iwi affiliations are with Ngati Rakaipaka and Ngati Kahungunu.
