Wanaka Retirement Village website launched

Presbyterian Support Otago is well underway with building the $8.5 million Wanaka Retirement Village adjacent to Emlsie House Rest Home and Hospital in Meadowstone Drive.

The 14 Villa, eight Apartment complex has been long-awaited by Wanaka residents and several homes have already been secured by future residents.

The first Villa to be completed will open as a showhome early in the New Year so potential residents can see the many energy saving features designed to make economical living in the region’s hot summers and very cold winters.

Residents will purchase an Occupation Right Agreement for the right to live in the life-care Village, a method of purchasing now favoured by village operators throughout New Zealand ad governed by the Retirement Villages Act 2003.
