How You Can Help

By Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteers assist with a wide range of activities in Aged Care Services. They assist the staff in Day Care with many different activities and they also help with transport. They enhance the quality of care we are able to provide for residents in the Rest Homes where they assist with a variety of activities such as newspaper reading, quiz calling, housie, arts & crafts to name a few. Volunteers also visit the elderly in the Cottages and offer companionship to elderly who live alone in the community.

In the Family Works service, volunteers staff a crèche for children of parents attending parent education courses. HOPE volunteers give practical support to parents in the community in times of crisis. We also have volunteers assisting with the food bank and at the Goodwill Shop.

Helping with Presbyterian Support's social services gives volunteers an opportunity to have a positive input into their community. If you would like more information, or if you have any questions, please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator on 03-6881748.

By Becoming a Financial Supporter

We are grateful for any donations - financial, goods or services. They help us to offer a range of services that are making a real difference for the people of South Canterbury.

By Gifting a Bequest

A gift in your will is a very positive way you can help Presbyterian Support care for the people it serves and supports in the South Canterbury region. Together we can make a difference and build a future for our communities.

If you would like more information or wish to discuss a bequest please contact the Office Manager on 03-6881748 or contact us for more information.
