Helping Older People

Volunteer involvement can range from occasional help with newspaper reading or van driving at our resthome/hospitals to assisting older people living in the community with shopping, doctors visits etc. Volunteers often gain experience and skills that lead to employment either within Presbyterian Support or elsewhere. Many simply do it for the enjoyment they get out of it and the lasting friendships that they develop.

There are also opportunities to help Children and Young People and in other areas of our organisation.
